Excel Data/form
 

In Office 2003 I can select from my toolbar Data/Form and get a pop up from
which I can type data and it lays down on my spreadsheet after every enter.
In Office 2007 beta version, I don't see that option anymore. Is it going to
be included in the new office?

Also, I can't format a cell to give me a date option of 9/06 for September,
2006. It wants to change the cell to September 6, 2006. How can I fix this?

It's not available in Office 2007. This has to be an oversight! Below is what
I am talking about. I found it on the MSFT site under Tricks and Tip for
2002. There is no way to get it with 2007. What a shame! I was under the
impression that you tried and found the solution.

I will give it another shot. This should not be so difficult, Why not just
have the option from the start? If one doesn't want it, they can just choose
to ignore it. It sure seems easier to me. Thanks. I will let you know if I
succeed.

Well, I tried. Found 1-3 and when I got to 4 to select the command, Data Form
was not there. I'm telling you Microsoft forgot to put this in Office 2007!
Would you please go to Excel 2003 and open a database, put your curser in 1A
and choose data/form and say yes. This is what I am looking for. I had
already tweaked my toolbar and couldn't find it. You gave me a different way
of getting there. I just right-clicked and chose then customization of my
toolbar.

I understand the name if Form, but it is not on the list. Since I have
already gone through the list and put them in the order I want them on my
toolbar. Please do me a favor a just show me the exact path to be able to put
data/form as an option on my toolbar. I am a beta tester for Vista and if not
successful this time, I will just call them, or else email my son who also
works for Microsoft as a TAM.

That did it. What I wasn't doing was changing the drop down to the proper
place. Thank you for your determination. I have copied your information as I
am sure many others will have the same problem. Microsoft fixed something
that was not broken. Now it is because it was so difficult to obtain. Case
Closed.

That did it. What I wasn't doing was changing the drop down to the proper
place. Thank you for your determination. I have copied your information as I
am sure many others will have the same problem. Microsoft fixed something
