You can adjust your margins in print preview.

Left and right header and footer margins do not follow the page margins and
cannot be changed outwards.

They are generally limited to about 3/4 inch from paper edge.

You can pad with spaces to bring them inwards.

With Excel, you can have any size side margins for headers that you want...
as long as you want 0.75" Hard to believe, but true, check out the
