What are the advantages to using Excel and is it easier and less time

Actually, I have heard that an abacus is best. Homework?

Don, you asked if this was homework; the answer is yes and no. The yes answer
is because I did have an assignment to do relating to doing financials with QuickBooks and Excel which if I may add I have completed. The no answer is because I am still one of those old fools that have yet to master anything beyond doing sums such as a checkbook and a budget by hand.
