Default FLASH ALARM

i need a cell (contain date) to flash alarming me that the date is a due
comparing with anothe cell (contain date)

One option for this would be to use conditional formatting, using the if
value is greater than or equal to condition, this will not flash however it
can appear in a different color, bold etc.
