Default how do i join 2 excel spreadsheets into access & import it back

how do i combine 2 different excel spreadsheet in access & import it back to
excel as 1 spreadsheet.

This is what i am trying to accomplish
turn 2 spreadsheets into 1 using an item number as the common denominator
the new spreadsheet has to have all the updates from both spreadsheets.

Thanks, I welcome any and all suggestions.

If both spreadsheeets have the same fields then you can import them and run
an append query adding either one to the other. You may also be able to just
import one and then copy and Edit - PasteAppend to the existing table.

Hope that helps.

Could you use VLOOKUP formulas in the 3rd sheet to look up data in each of
the seperate sheets rather than importing and exporting?
