Default Create a non-specific file link

Is there a way to link two separate workbooks files using only the current
folder they reside in? When I create a cell link between the two files I get
the following:

='C:\data\TESTING\test1\[seat #1.xls]Sheet1'!$C$11

I'm trying to create a generic template file that will use data from files
called
seat #1.xls
seat #2.xls
seat #3.xls

So I'm trying to link the cells only using files in the same folder that
would not be as specific as C:\data\TESTING\test1\. I figure I could write a
macro that would ask for the location of seat #1.xls, etc, but I was hoping
there is a simplier method. Thanks in advance!
