When I we create a hyperlink to a .msg document (which was created in
Windows 2000) on the network , the error message 'cannot open specified file" is displayed. I am using a Windows XP machine and I believe the same problem occurs for Windows 2000 users when trying to open hyperlinks to Outlook messages from my machine. Do I need to convert the .msg files to another format in order to open them? Or is there another way of doing this by preserving the file format? Any suggestions would be most welcome! |
