How to lock a legend on screen
I want my legend, which I created in column G, cells 1 through 12, to be
visible in column G, regardless of the row I am working on. So if I am editing row 231, I want the legend to show up in Cell G231 though G242. In this way the legend is ALWAYS visible..... Is this possible? |

How to lock a legend on screen
One way to do this is to highlight row 13, then on the menu click
Window Freeze panes. When you scroll up or down, rows 1-12 will always be visible. |

And do you perhaps know of a way to limit this to column G only?

How to lock a legend on screen
If you land the cell pointer on H13 and click Window Freeze Panes, H13
becomes the axis of the frozen panes. You might then hide columns A-F, thereby displaying column G only. Whether this will work or not depends on what you have in A-F, and whether it must be displayed at all times. |
