Default Merging cells and keeping their contents

I want to keep all text characters that are in the cells including
spaces. I think I found a workable solution by combining the values of
the cells into a new cell
(=A2&B2&C2&D2&E2&F2&G2&H2&I2&J2&K2&L2&M2&N2&O2&P2& Q2&R2&S2&T2&U2).
