Default my data won't enter properly

hi,
every time i try to enter say... 150 it returns with 0.015 and i have tried
to format back to currency, or general or number and it keeps returning
0.015. i tried Toolstext To Columns and unclicked and it worked. do i have
to do this everytime i open excel? please help!

Default my data won't enter properly

There is a setting in Excel that let's (lazy) people enter 12345 to get
123.45. It saves them entering the decimal. Sounds like your is set to give
3 decimal places.

Use Tool | Options and open the Edit tab. Now uncheck the Fixed Decimals
box.

thanks! and for the record... i'm not one of the lzy people... i enter my
decimal points ALWAYS. :-)

If you have tons and tons of decimal data entry over time then lazy is the
way to go. :O)
