Marina del Rey, California to host the first Microsoft Excel / Access User
Conference

(Marina del Rey Hotel, Marina del Rey, California) - On October 25-27, the
Marina del Rey Hotel in Marina del Rey, California (near LAX in Los Angeles)
will be the site of the first user conference where attendees will learn and
share their knowledge with fellow users. There have been events held around
the world for Excel, this will be the first one to combine spreadsheet and
database users. The events have become an international affair. While most
will herald from the United States, the events have attracted
representatives from Ireland, England, Greece, Spain, Italy, Cyprus, Israel,
Nova Scotia, Sweden, Norway, Canada and Australia.

One of the MVP's that will be leading sessions is Bob Umlas. Bob is one of
the premier leaders in the Excel community. He has been an MVP since 1994
and regularly teaches an online Master Excel class. Bob shares his expertise
in various online Excel communities. His contributions have increased the
productivity of Excel users all over the world since the early days of
Excel. At the conference, Bob will dazzle those in attendance with his
popular Tip and Tricks presentation, in addition to his sessions on Array
Formulas and Command Bars.

The other Microsoft Office gurus are, Mike Alexander, Alison J. Balter, Dick
Kusleika, Simon Murphy and Jon Peltier. All of these Microsoft Office
experts are well respected leaders in the Microsoft Office user community.
They have shared their knowledge in many books and each host excellent web
sites. On their sites, visitors will find pages filled with great tips and
examples of what can be accomplished with Microsoft Access and Microsoft
Excel. If you ever searched the internet for help with Office, you will
surely run across one of these esteemed leaders.
