Password Prompt With Read Only Option
Is there a way to password protect an Excel document, but allow for READ ONLY
access if the user doesn't know the password? |

Password Prompt With Read Only Option
Just save the file as 'Read Only'
Go File Save As Tools (on the right of the dialogue box) General Options Choose 'Password To Modify' Follow the prompts for the password and that's it done, Regards, Alan. File|SaveAs|Tools|General Options
