Is it possible to copy conditional formating to other cells?

Sure, You need to use the "Paint-Brush" Icon for that.
1st select the cell with the CF you like/want;
then click the Paint-Brush;
then either clcik the Destination cell (single-cell) you
wish to replicate the formating on or
Left-click and drag over multiple cells; release the
mouse and all will be painted.

Yes - just copy the cell which has the conditional format, then select the
other cells and use "paste special" and select "format".

you need to delete the "$" from the references in the conditional format
formula.

just to clarify you need to change your reference from $A$2 to $A2. Then you
should be able to copy it.
