Opening Excel - online help offer
Hi
I have Microsoft Tablet and Office 2003, on opening Excel, and Word, I get the offer of online help column on the right hand side of the screen, please please can someone helpme turn this off - requesting help on this subject doesn't work, or I'm not asking the correct quetion tyo get the correct help xJane in Bristol, UK |

xJane,
I don't have xl2003, but you are probably seeing the task pane. In the top right corner of the task pane is an X, which when clicked will hide it. Also, on the menu bar (that's the very top one) under View is the menu item "Task pane". What if that doesn't work? I've tried on excel and word to uncheck that task
pane box and when I close the documents and reopen new ones it's there again. I want it off Permanently. Is it he Template help pane you are seeing?
