Default Excel 2007 '/' Shortcut

While it is very nice to shortcut to the menus and ribbons, trying to type
text into a cell that begins with a '/' causes me to take extra steps to
avoid this 'shortcut'.

Maybe the menu shortcut should be changed to Ctrl or Alt, or something that
will require more than one key to activate it, or just go back to Alt.

It's been there since excel came out for windows to be compatible with
Lotus, you can change it. In Excel 97 -2003 it's under
toolsoptionstransition, in 2007 it's under file (click office icon top
left) excel options advanced and scroll down to Lotus Compatibility

Gosh, I'm starting to wonder about the MOS Master certification I got a few
years ago...

Thanks for your help.
