Default How to delete duplicate rows in Excel 2000?

I have a very large spreadsheet of data received from another application and
need to delete the duplicate rows from it. I tried to follow the
instructions on this site for Excel 2003, but the "Show All" option was
grayed out under Data -- Filter. I had found the proper instructions
several weeks ago, but can't find it again for Excel 2000.
