XL 2003 Automatically filling in cells on two sheets on opening...
I have an expenses spreadsheet with two tabs (car-related and other). Each
sheet requires the user to fill in their name, payroll number, and date. Everything else is calculated for the user. Would it be possible to have a dialog box open when the template is opened (similar to what Word can do), whereby a user can complete these fields only once and the dats is entered on both sheets. Link the second sheet to the first sheet. So that once you enter the data on
the first sheet, the same data is automatically populated in sheet 2 as well. Use a simple "=" and the cell reference of the first sheet to do this. See if this works manoj "Birmangirl" wrote: I have an expenses spreadsheet with two tabs (car-related and other). Each sheet requires the user to fill in their name, payroll number, and date.
