Had to ugrade from Oulook 2000 to 2003 becuase I cannot find my Office 2000
disks. Once upgrade was completed and additional updates downloaded from Microsoft, Excel not will not start up. Get dialog box that says the feature I am trying to use is located on the Office 2000 disk which I of course cannot find. Needs Data1.msi file which cannot be found on my HD. Why did MS Outlook upgrades affect Excel. Short of finding the disks, what can I do to get Excel working again? |

I guess you will have to reinstall the entire office 2003 as there are a lot
of common shared files used between the MsOffice applications. just upgrading the outlook has probably damaged one of the common file. Try installing entire ms office suite and see if it works.
