Default Increase a value by a % with result showing in original cell?

Is there a way to increase a value in a cell by a percentage and have the
result show in the same cell as the original value? I'm trying to apply a 4%
increase to some prices and would rather not calculate each value but instead
apply a formula to change the cells across the board. Thanks!

In a separate cell enter 104%

Then select all cells to change
Goto EditPastespecial, click Multiply, and OK

Then clear the 104%
