I created an Mac Excel 98 worksbook in Mac OS 9 with macros and userforms.
When I tried to open it in Mac Excel 2004 in Mac OS X 10.3.7, I get the message the the file cannot be found "Fichier introuvable". Thanks for your help. |

How are you trying to open the file? Double click? File/Open?

It does not matter. All methods of trying to open the file failed
(File/Open, Double Click, File over Icon). I always get the same message. Note that all my other Excel files (with no usage of userforms and macros) worked. Weird - it obviously doesn't refer to the file itself. Does your error
message indicate which file can't be found? In article , "Jean-Yves Fortin" <Jean-Yves wrote: It does not matter. Thank you for trying to help.
In an attempt to open the file, Windows XP Excel indicated that it could not recognize the file as an Excel file. I don't know what the problem is ! I have decided to create a new Excel file and to copy the VBA modules, sheets and Userform as separate entities to reconstruct the file directly in Mac OS X Excell 2004. I expect that if the problem is related to userforms and VBA modules that Excell will identify the culprit script.
