Default Excel 2003

In previous versions of Excel I was able to open the program in two separate
windows. Now I can only open them where they are in the one window or frame.
Is there a way to open them separately and not have to arrange the 'page'
within one frame?

Also is there a way in the Property section to have it keep a record of the
amount of time spent on a worksheet like you can do in MSWord? I received a
copy of a spread sheet a few years ago from an accountant and his version
monitored the time working on the spread sheet on the property section. I
don't have the copy of the document he gave me anymore. I just kept opening
new documents through that one and it kept track of the time I was working on
the spread sheet. Thanks for your help.
