Default Can Excel automatically enter the current date in a spreadsheet?

I know Excell can auto enter the current date in a footer or header. However
i need it in my spreadsheet. Is there any way to insert it automatically?

Hi Donna,

try this

=TODAY()

or

=NOW() this will display date and time

Default Can Excel automatically enter the current date in a spreadsheet?

Use the today() function and format the cell to display as a date

Note: this will update every time you recalculate the sheet. If you want a
static date, select the cell where you want it to display and press Ctrl-;
(control and semicolon)
