I am working with Microsoft Excel 2003, performing selections on a
worksheet with the CTRL key. After a few selections and still more to select, I have inadvertently let go of the CTRL key while clicking in a cell, thereby losing my previous selections. Is there a way to get them back or do I have to re-start the tedious selection exercise? |

You don't have to use the CTRL key while clicking.
Hit SHIFT + F8 key to enter ADD mode. Now just click to select cells. Hit F8 twice to leave ADD mode.
