Default Resizing columns

I have small tables in 1 worksheet. I want column A in both tables to be
different sizes. Is this possible?

Hi

no, a column width applies to the whole worksheet
the only "alternative" is in the table where you want column A to be wider
is to merge it with column B - however, this is not really a good idea as it
can cause problems with sorting / filtering etc.

Cheers
