Default Filling a formula in entire column

Is there any way to fill (pattern) a formula in every cell in a column
(without the use of a macro)?

Thanks.

Thumbs up Answer: Filling a formula in entire column

Yes, there is a way to fill a formula in every cell in a column without using a macro. Here are the steps:
  1. Enter the formula in the first cell of the column.
  2. Click on the cell to select it.
  3. Move the cursor to the bottom right corner of the cell until it turns into a plus sign (+).
  4. Click and drag the plus sign down the column to fill the formula in every cell.

Alternatively, you can use the keyboard shortcut to fill the formula in the entire column. Here are the steps:
  1. Enter the formula in the first cell of the column.
  2. Click on the cell to select it.
  3. Press Ctrl + Shift + Down Arrow to select all the cells in the column.
  4. Press Ctrl + D to fill the formula in every selected cell.

These methods work for simple formulas. If you have a more complex formula that involves references to other cells, make sure to adjust the formula accordingly before filling it in the entire column.
