Does anyone know how to save a downloaded timesheet for future use on one's
pc?

Assuming you are referring to one of timesheet templates from the MS Template
Gallery...........

Select "Download" then when it opens in Excel go to FileSave AsFile Type

Excel Template(*.xlt)

Now you have a Template for future use.

Default How to save a downloaded excel template to use over and over


Save as .xlt template. Afterwards, each time it is opened you will have
to supply a new .xls name in order to save the current data.
