Default Cannot Access

I suddenly cannot open a worksheet that I've worked in for the last few
months and get, "Cannot be accessed. The file may be read-only, or you may
be trying to access a read-only location. Or, the server the document is
stored on may not be responding." I even tried moving/copying the file to
another location but got, "Error performing inpage operation." I need to
access this file. What else can I do and what is the problem? I'm using
Windows 2000 Professional.
