Default Excel 2003 Subtotals Hotfix

I'm having the same issue as the guy below. The hotfix information says the
fix will be included in SP1. I'm currently working with SP2 loaded and I'm
still having the problem. Any suggestions?

Apparently, it can be corrected by installing this hotfix:

In Excel 2003, the nested Subtotal provides the result with second

subtotal
below the first subtotal. Hence the group (+) and ungroup (-) doesn't work
properly

Let em just clarify, the first and second subtotals are nesting properly, it
is now the thrid subtotal that is showing before the second one that I'm
having a problem with.

I am having this same problem.
It seems to occur when I do a subtotal(b) within a subtotal(a) and
there is only 1 item on my first subtotal(a) line. It then screws up
the rest of the lines below.
Got the hotfix installed, still not working in either excel97 or
excel2003.

My tech support guys are checking this out

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/906600/en-us

grrrrr.
