I have our local church accounts on an extensive spreadsheet with pie charts
for income and expenditure on 2 separate sheets (Office 2003).
When I downloaded the 2007 beta, I was very impressed with everything -
except that these 2 charts seemed to get lost.
When I tried to create new charts (in 2007 beta), they seem to only appear
with a maximum of 3 segments (compared with the 15 I have in the 2003
version).
I have since reverted to my Office 2003 - Has anyone else come across this
(and maybe found an answer).
Until I know for certain that these charts will appear as I am used to, I
will be sticking with 2003.

I guess now you know what "beta" means. It's for testing, not for doing real
work.

The charting functionality of Excel 2007 is not up to the level of
preparedness as its worksheet functionality. Disappearing charts is merely
one symptom.

There are many, many bugs in the charting features of Beta EXCEL 2007.
It is expected that these will be fixed before release
