![]() Hi there, I am attempting to produce a combination Line and Bar Graph from a set of data for my Master's thesis. My problem lies in the fact that out of 5 columns of data I want the data from column 1 to be represented as a bar and the other 4 columns of data represented as 4 lines, all on the same chart. The chart wizard appears to automatically turn each alternate column of data into bar then line and so on. This leaves me with a chart that has two sets of bars and 3 sets of lines which is no good to me. Does anyone know how to control which columns are represented by bars or lines? Thankyou:) -- 120044 ------------------------------------------------------------------------ 120044's Profile: http://www.excelforum.com/member.php...o&userid=36741 View this thread: http://www.excelforum.com/showthread...hreadid=564610 |

![]() Surely you can highlight a set of bars, click on chart options and select line chart. -- robert111 ------------------------------------------------------------------------ robert111's Profile: http://www.excelforum.com/member.php...o&userid=31996 View this thread: http://www.excelforum.com/showthread...hreadid=564610 |

Start with a line chart of all of the data. Select the one series, and on
the Chart menu choose Chart Type, and select the Column type. - Jon ------- Jon Peltier, Microsoft Excel MVP Tutorials and Custom Solutions http://PeltierTech.com _______ "120044" wrote in message ...
