Hi,

You need to record the code of you changing the column fill colour for
instance.
I think what you have is too high a level. And if it did work is Standard
formatting not what the pivot chart reverts to.

This macro will set the colour of the bars to red.

Sub Macro3()
'
' Apply red formatting to columns

With ActiveChart.SeriesCollection(1)
.Interior.ColorIndex = 3
End With

End Sub
