Showing a specific value against a normal curve
I'm wondering if it's possible to show a specific data point against a normal
curve. I would like to be able to show where, for example, a particular test score would fall on the curve of all test scores. Suggestions please? |

Draw a normal curve, then add a 2nd series that represents the z-value for
the test score of interest. I tried the last option, which placed a data point along the x-axis, but I
wasn't able to get the vertical line to appear. I did double-click the one-point that appears on the graph now and I selected the Y Error Bars tab, selected the 'Minus' option and set the % value to 100; but, the vertical line does not appear. OK... I double-clicked the data point, selected the Y Error Bars tab,
selected Custom and set the + value to ={1}. This has created a vertical black line. Now I'm wondering if it's possible to change the color of that line.
