![]() I have a spreadsheet that includes two columns that I want to turn into a barchart. One column contains numbers, and the other column contains string 'categories', so for e.g. column 1 contains 2,6,1,7,4,5 and column 2 contains A,B,A,C,A,B. I want the barchart to plot the total amount for each category, so it in this example it would have 3 bars, one each for A, B, and C, with corresponding values of: 7, 11, and 7. Sorry for being thick but I can't work out from the Excel help how to do this, and would really appreciate any pointers on how to do this. Thanks, Z. -- zoopigi ------------------------------------------------------------------------ zoopigi's Profile: http://www.excelforum.com/member.php...o&userid=33197 View this thread: http://www.excelforum.com/showthread...hreadid=530133 |
