Default Why do I lose my defined gridlines in Excel?

I have an Excel 2003 spreadsheet that I add data to when necessary. I have
borders (thin lines) defined throughout the spreadsheet yet whenever I add
more rows and go to print this spreadsheet, I have to redefine the borders
wherever the end of the pages occur or parts of the border will not print
(normally the last three to four columns, sometimes the entire line). It is
a bit of an annoyance- is there anyway to stop this from happening so that I
am not required to place those lines back in constantly?

Thanks for your help!
