Default Datapoints

I have automatically generated datapoints in a chart that show up where I put
them, but in Print Preview show up on the top or bottom of the chart . I
have already tried to align them via the formatting option.

The only time they stay in place is when I make the chart smaller.

Do the axis scales change in print preview? If so you might lock them in.
Double click on an axis, and on the Scale tab, uncheck the box in front of
the Min and Max entries.

You cannot align data points using any formatting, since their position is
determined by the X and Y values in the source data.
