Default X axis problem

HI
I have an existing chart that has days for the X axis and numbers for the Y
but to indicate the weeks we use 2 columns in the raw data and then link
them in the Category (x) axis labels='28'!$A$2:$B$23

This worked until I tried to add vertical lines using the Scatter Plot
method.
With the Axis set to
='28'!$B$2:$B$23 the graph is ok and shows the days and the vertical marker
on the correct day but is missing the markers for the weeks but if I set the
axis to A and B column all the data is off the left side of the chart and
unusable.

So how do I do both have the scatter plot for vertical markers and multi
level
x axis?
Here is an example of the data.

W02 9-Jan 99.39%
10-Jan 99.18%
11-Jan 99.35%
12-Jan 99.34%
13-Jan 99.32%
14-Jan 99.37%
15-Jan 99.43%
W03 16-Jan 99.39%
17-Jan 99.30%
18-Jan 99.25%
19-Jan 99.22%
20-Jan 99.39%
21-Jan 99.34%
22-Jan 99.33%
W04 23-Jan 99.39%
24-Jan 99.36%
25-Jan 99.39%

Mark -

For the X values of the scatter series, you can't use dates, because Excel
doesn't recognize multiple level category axis values as numerical. Count
the number of categories, starting with 1 for W02 9-Jan. Depending on
whether you want the lines to be positioned on or between the existing
chart's points, use these category numbers, or add/subtract 0.5.
