Dynamic Chart
Hi, How can I keep a personal format in a dynamic chart, when I updated it? All the time, it returns to the original format. Dynamic Chart
By Dynamic Chart, do you mean Pivot Chart? Pivot Charts are notorious about
removing any formatting when they are updated. You could make a regular chart from a pivot table's data. Select a blank cell that's not touching the pivot table, start the chart wizard, and in step 2 of the wizard, use the Series tab to define the series in the chart. Such a chart will not lose formatting, but if the shape of the pivot table changes, the chart will not reflect the new configuration. - Jon ------- Jon Peltier, Microsoft Excel MVP Peltier Technical Services Tutorials and Custom Solutions http://PeltierTech.com/ _______ "Renato8" wrote in message ...
