Kim -
You cannot format individual characters within a legend entry. What you could do is download a special font that has extended character sets consisting of sub- and superscripted characters in the regular font, or create textboxes which contain your text, and which can be formatted letter-by-letter. - Jon ------- Jon Peltier, Microsoft Excel MVP Peltier Technical Services Tutorials and Custom Solutions http://PeltierTech.com/ _______ "kim**" wrote in message ... how do you add subscripts to the legend on an excel graph.i have only managed to superscript the whole name instead of an individual letter. |
