Default how do i modify a legend

how do you add subscripts to the legend on an excel graph.i have only managed
to superscript the whole name instead of an individual letter.

Kim -

You cannot format individual characters within a legend entry. What you
could do is download a special font that has extended character sets
consisting of sub- and superscripted characters in the regular font, or
create textboxes which contain your text, and which can be formatted
letter-by-letter.
