Default Is it possible in excel chart?

Hi,

I have one doubt in bar chart. I have created one bar chart.
That contains 4 serious collection. All 4 bar shows well. But if i
delete the one or two serious collection, Bar size is increased. Bar
shows bigger size. I need the same size even if i delete the serious
collection. Is it possible in excel chart?

I use maximum of 4 bars only. I want the same size, even i
increase or decrease the serious collection.

Pls help me.

Ram.

Hi,

In order to reduce the column size when the number of series is changed
you will need to play with the Gap Width property. To be found on the
Options tab of the Format dialog for a column series.

Any reason why you can not set the values of the unwanted columns to
zero, so they are not displayed?

Cheers
Andy

Hi Andy,

Thank you for your answer. But your idea has one
disvantage. Some time the chart shows more gap if i encrease the gap
width. i have another idea for allign the chart. yes. If i reduce the
height of the chart the bar shows lesser size. If i increase the
height, then bar shows bigger size. I did this one by mannually use
draging. But i have one doubt. What am asking is Can we set the values
for hight.? (Not use dragingl). I have to enter the hight size? is that
option available in the excel chart?

Thanks..

Ram..

If you hold the Shift key when selecting the chart you can treat it like
a shape object and on the Format dialog is the parameters to change the
charts height and width.
