Default Simple question

Total newbie here.
I have 3 tables.
First table : group name
Second one : Start time of the working day ( also date )
Last one : End time of the working day ( also date )

Now when I click on chart wizard and I select for values the first
table and for X axis first the second column ( press control ) and also
the third one.

Now when I plot it I wished it was a graph with on the X axis the date
from the date the most far away from now untill the one nearest to now
like so:
26 august 2003 27august 2003 27 august 2004
And the Y axis the names.

So I look at the boxes presenting the names and I can tell when they
started working and when they stopped.

That kinda works but it only shows 2 groups and not all 50
And it ALWAYS starts the groups all at the same starting time
So when group1 starts at 3PM and group2 at 5PM they will both start at
say 3PM.

Help is very much appreciated
