I created a linear trend line on a chart, but the trend line is invisible. To delete the trend line, it seems that I have no other option but to click on the trend line to select, then delete. How do I select a trend line that I cannot see? Thanks, in advance, for any assistance. Had the same problem today (Mar 2020). In MS Excel 2016: 1. Click to select the chart 2. Click <Chart Design in header 3. Locate <Add Chart Element in upper left corner 4. Select the dropdown 5. Select <Trendline then <None It eliminates all trendlines, but is a failsafe. |
