Default how do I create a line graph for part of the periods?

I want to put two line graphs on one chart but each line is for a subset of
the periods.

Harold -

Set up the data like this:

Srs A Srs B
a 1
b 2
c 3
d 4 4
e 5
f 6
g 7

and Series A will cover a-d and Series B will cover d-g.
