I have a chart that is based upon a Pivot Table. How do I get it so that the
date shows up on the chart as well? Thanks. |

Using a pivot chart? Configure the pivot table so that the date is the
leftmost column of the pivot table. Nothing can be plotted in the pivot chart unless it's in the pivot table. Or make a regular chart from the pivot table. Select a blank cell not touching the pivot table and start the chart wizard. After selecting the chart type in step one, click on the Series tab in step two and add each series and define its data ranges individually (using the Data Range tab converts it into a pivot chart). Continue as usual to get your chart. - Jon ------- Jon Peltier, Microsoft Excel MVP Peltier Technical Services Tutorials and Custom Solutions http://PeltierTech.com/ _______ Rob wrote: I have a chart that is based upon a Pivot Table.
