Default Trendlines in Excel

I would like to use the equation of a trendline through a set of datapoints
to interpolate a value from a chart in Excel. Is there a way to pull the
trendline equation into a cell to return a value? The data set could change,
so entering an equation for the trendline will not really work well. Any
help would be appreciated.
