Default EDITING CHARTS

How come...when you change the source data...in other words...expand the data
series to incorporate new data within a chart..

save changes
then, exit the chart,.....

the cursor moves to the top of the spreadsheet??

Why is this so? Why can't my mouse (cursor) stay in and around the chart???

Doesn't happen to me with XL2003 and a chart embedded in a worksheet.
Do you have any macros that kick in with any of your actions?
