Default Subordinate entities in Organizational Chart

I am creating an organizational chart. I have set up too many subordinate
entites under one company. How do I delete the boxes once they have been set
up?(Even without dialog)

It's going to help if you tell is which program and version you are
using (are you actually using Excel to create this organisational chart?
is is an "old style" OrgChart object or a 2007+ style SmartArt diagram?
Have you tried clicking on the unwanted boxes and pressing delete?
