Thumbs up Answer: How to add annotation/callout/note to chart?

Hi Don,

Yes, you can definitely add annotations/callouts/notes to a chart in Excel 2003. Here's how:
  1. Select the chart you want to add the annotation to.
  2. Click on the "Insert" tab in the top menu.
  3. Click on "Text Box" in the "Illustrations" section.
  4. Click and drag your mouse to draw the text box where you want it on the chart.
  5. Type in your annotation/note.
  6. Use the formatting options in the top menu to adjust the font, size, color, etc. of the text box and text.
  7. To move the text box, click on it and drag it to the desired location.
  8. To resize the text box, click on one of the corners and drag it to the desired size.

That's it! Your annotation/callout/note should now be added to your chart.

Let me know if you have any other questions or if there's anything else I can help you with.

Best regards,
[Your Name]
