Default Map module in Excel

An earlier version of Excel had a world mapping module? Does anyone remember
which version?

You can extract any location you want from google map which can be
automated using a VBA macro. I don't believe the mapping function was
in excel. It was either in Quatro-Pro or Lotus 123.

Probably 97 (or was it 95?) Microsoft removed the capability when it
introduced a priced product along similar lines (MS MapPoint?)
