I Made some charts in excel using existing data, and then copied and pasted
them to my Word document. But the probalem is whenever I brows the pages in Word I have to wait for those charts to re-draw and get finish, and it makes my document very slow to be browsed. I was wondering if there is a way so I can have those charts like a picture or anything passive on my word Document. Thanks a lot for any help. Rob. |

Rob,
In Excel, you can "take a picture" of the chart and then copy that picture into your Word document. To do so, activate the chart in Excel by clicking on it. Then, press and hold the Shift key down. Go to the Standard Toolbar and select Copy - Picture. At this point you can copy it into your Word document. Alternatively, you can use an Excel add-in such as John Walkenbach's Chart Tools to export a picture of the chart as a .gif, etc. format. You can then upload the .gif file (or other format) into your Word document. You can find John's add-in at: http://j-walk.com/ss/excel/files/charttools.htm ---- Regards, John Mansfield http://www.pdbook.com "Rob" wrote: I Made some charts in excel using existing data, and then copied and pasted them to my Word document.
