Hi,
To see tickmarks on all sides of the plot area you need to use both the secondary x and y axis. This page should help with that. http://www.andypope.info/tips/tip008.htm You could create your own custom tickmarks by adding an extra data series, as an xy scatter, and plot '+' markers where ever you want tickmarks to appear.
